I was watching episode of Martha Stewart at Ntv 7 about year ago and it struck my mind about a project that is very useful. It was a shopping bag made from old t-shirt and it's very cool. I mean you can put your own designer touch in it. These are some of the pictures of the projects I found. Here's are the detail on how you can go green.
You need:
T-shirt preferably strong cotton cloth
Pins
Sewing machine. (Your mom old singer sewing machine will do, like mine)
Scissors
To do:
Firstly, you turn the T shirt inside out and pin along the hem. Then using a sewing machine, sew the bottom of the T-shirt. After that, turn it outside out. After that, cut the neckline so that the hole will be enough for your groceries. Put the t shirt on a table and properly cut the both 'hand' of the t-shirt. Now, you have one fashionable grocery bag to go shopping with. Enjoy!!!
