
Have you ever been to a wedding and at the end of the wedding, they will be the bouquet toss ceremony. Did you know how it all started? Well it started in Europe and north America. In the 14th century, it is believed that own a piece of the bride wedding cloth will bring luck since the wedding gown is a fertility charm. It is said that after the wedding, all single women will literelly torn the wedding gown and leave the bride in tatters. The men will remove the bride's garter from her leg and throw it himself. The single men who catches it is said to be next in line to get married.

To prevent the guests from ripping the wedding gown, the bride will throw the bouquet as a distraction. The wedding bouquet is symbolise fertility. However there are some couples who do not wish to do the bouquet tossing ceremony since they might women that choose stay single so in order to prevent chaos, they will give each bridemaids and the female guests flower.
p.s: Garter is a circular piece of fabric or leather that was normally tied around the thigh to keep the socks from falling down. It is something worn by women.
