Kitchen tips

1. Store cheese in your refrigarator tightly wrapped in a plastic away from air. If you get a little mold on the outside just cut it.
2. There are two ways to melt chocolete. Use the microwave oven or the Double boiler stovetop method.
3. To boil a perfect egg, put egg in cold water and boil it. Just as the water boil, turn the heat off and let it for about 10 minutes with the lid on. Then runs the egg on tap water till it cool to peel.
4. To get more juice form lemon or lime, roll it on the counter for about 10 minutes or nuke it in microwave for about 20 seconds.
5. To keep the potatoes from budding, keep an apple in the bag with the potatoes.
6. Bean sprout will stay fresh in the refrigarator if store them in covered plastic container.
7. If you cook beans, do not salt in from the beginning and it will help it cook faster.
8. When selected melons in the supermarket, smell them to smell if they ripe and fresh. The stem end spot should be soft.
9. Try using carrot to sweaten your sauces instead of sugar.
10. Saute garlic before adding to the sause, this will bring more milder flavour.
11. Toasting spices in dry skillet will bring more flavours.
12. If you baked a chicken, spread a lemon juice over it since it will help to get golden colour.
13. If sup or stew is too salty, put in some raw cut potatoes, its will absorbed the salt.
14. For a low fat cooking, measure your oil and use non stick pan.
15. To cook noodle, it is best to soak them in cold water first.
16. Never put hot food or hot liquid inside the refrigarator, always cool it off first till room temperature before chill it in the refrigarator.
17. For more healthy, choose wholegrain bread or wholemeal bread.
18. To avoid overeat, eat slowly and savour each spoon.
19. Always preheat the oven about 10-15 minutes.
20. When buy meat, look for red meat not gray.
